
Child Care WAGE$® FLORIDA Project
Broward County
To be eligible for at least one six-month supplement payment during the fiscal year,
applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Work in a licensed or licensed exempt Quality Rating System (QRS) early care and education program (center or family child care home)
- Earn less than $17.50 per hour as a child care practitioner (teacher or assistant)
- Have one of the education levels listed on the scale (from a regionally accredited college)
- Work at least six months in the same eligible early care and education program
- Work with a consistent group of children birth to five years of age for at least 10 hours a week in a child care program classroom
- Be employed at this same program at the time of employment confirmation

The Early Learning Coalition of Broward County, Inc. is committed to promoting quality child care through its support of quality child care programs and staff professional development. Broward practitioners who are interested in applying for CDA, in-service and college credit scholarships the Coalition is offering three types of scholarships:
- College Scholarships
- National Child Development Association (CDA) Credential Scholarship
- In-service Professional Development Scholarship
